Bella
Bella may be one of the kindest dogs I will ever meet. She has never been violent towards other dogs and despite always getting bitten by Faye even when she is way bigger, she has never hurt her even once. Bella is also a bit slow and because of that I have never properly trained her but she stays still when I tell her to. Bella may look like a goat and sound like a grunting pig 24/7 but I would argue and say that is her charm. Every time we go to the vet, people would compliment Bella for being very attractive and hearing that makes me very proud. Bella has eyes the color of amber which look like it glows when under the sunlight.
We got Bella from a pet shop on my sister's birthday when we went and was expecting to come out with a hamster. I am not proud of it as I was not educated about breeding as a child. The shop owner kept on talking about how Labradors were excellent and intelligent companions and how Bella was special because she was an albino. We somehow convinced my parents to get her quite easily as my mother has always been fond towards dogs and especially with retrievers. Her past experience with retrievers was what probably convinced my father.
Unlike my other dogs, training Bella always has been an issue. Teaching the basics such as 'sit' was impossible. Either that or we were just too impatient. It was not until recently where she learnt how to sit after always seeing my other dog do it and us complementing her for it. Bella does not like peanut butter as much as you would expect a dog to but she enjoys apples quite a bit.
Throughout my pet owning experience with around 8 dogs, including my grandma's dogs, Bella would be my favorite. I do not think I will meet another dog quite like her and will always have a soft spot in my heart for her. She will come running from the other side of the house and crash herself onto you as she is not able to control her speed. Showing her belly to you and blocking your body to stop you from leaving, Bella will always be my big baby.
